Customer story: thepinkterrace's playhouse

Pink and white playhouse with white windmills and plants

We have been spoiled for choice this year with lovely customer images. @thepinkterrace shared their lovely playhouse with us on Instagram, and we wanted to know more about it! @thepinkterrace opted for the 5 x 5 Poppy playhouse.

Why did you choose this particular playhouse?

We spent weeks looking for the perfect playhouse - we wanted one that was small but in perfect proportion. We wanted to be able to put our own stamp on it too so when we saw this one it was perfect!

What extra work did you do to customise your playhouse?

We painted the exterior white with a pink front door and added a wreath to it. We then added a gold number and doorknob. On the inside we added a play kitchen and wood effect foam floor tiles and a little neon sign - it’s like a mini version of our own house!

What inspiration did you have for decorating your playhouse?

I spent forever on Pinterest and Instagram looking for ideas and then came across @lucyhamiltonathome who decorates kids spaces and she had the most amazing ideas for kids playhouses!

What do you think of your playhouse? Are you happy with the results?

I love the playhouse - it’s so beautiful and we get so many compliments! I can’t wait for next summer, we’re going to add flower boxes and curtains to make it look even more like a little house!
